Make sure you put on your earrings last, after dressing, makeup, parfyme etc.

Take off your jewellery before swimming, showering, making the dishes, cleaning, doing sports activities.

Be careful not to drop your earrings on the floor. The sones might crack. 

It's a good habbit to check your jewellery once per year.
